Feelings of worry and fear leads to anxiety, however, it’s normal to have occasional fear and worry. People often worry about things like health, money, work, family etc., which is normal.

Types of Anxiety Disorders
Agoraphobia: It is a type of anxiety disorder in which the person is fearful of places where he might feel helpless or trapped. The individual will often avoid those places.
Panic Disorder: Here, A person has repeated episodes of sudden fear; when it reaches the peak point, the individual will face hyperventilation, chest pain, palpitations and even unconsciousness.
Social Anxiety Disorder: In this, the individual experiences high levels of fear or terror of social situations due to feelings of embarrassment or being judged. Therefore, he tries to avoid all the social situations possible. Separation Anxiety Disorder: This is a childhood disorder in which the child fears separation from his parents or caregivers. It is so intense that the child avoids any such situations in which he will be away from them. This can impact negatively on a child’s development.
Specific Phobias: These are characterized by experiencing intense anxiety after being exposed to a particular object or stimulus; hence the desire to avoid emerges. Should the intensity increase, this can lead to regular panic attacks. Therefore treatment and support are crucial.
